The Law Admission Test (LAT) is a compulsory entry test conducted by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan for admission to the 5-year LLB (Bachelor of Laws) degree program in public and private sector universities and colleges recognized by the Pakistan Bar Council (PBC). The LAT is designed to assess a candidate’s aptitude for legal education through questions on English, General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Islamic Studies, Urdu, and Mathematics, along with Essay and Personal Statement writing.
